“Being married is like having a color TV. Once you have it, you never want to go back to black & white.” -Danny Perasa, the most adorable man in the world
Today, I want to acknowledge Valentine’s Day in the traditional sense, but not with hearts and flowers. Rather, I want to acknowledge real romantic love, warts and all. These two people remind me of all the best couples we know, and I think you’re going to love them.
I wish a very happy Valentine’s Day to all, whether you’re single, coupled, thrupled, or otherwise. May you get love and give love in equal and abundant measure.
DISCLAIMER: Every time one of my posts make my beloved cry, she (hilariously) calls me a jerk. Today, I graduated to big jerk. Be warned.

Oh that was so touching, it made me cry. So much love for each other but so sad that he had to leave her.

This was a lovely, sweet (and sad) thing to see after spending three days with my father, who’s bereft after since my mother died last October. They’d been together almost sixty years. Thank you for finding it. XO

I’m glad it touched you. Made me cry like a hormonal middle-aged woman. Oh, wait. . .
