Because I spend so much time clicking on and bookmarking Etsy’s weirder merchandise, the site’s suggestions for me tend to be a tad bizarre. Nonetheless, once in a while they recommend something for me that’s spot on. This is one of those recommendations.

This is the Handz “Restyle Shop” on Etsy. They sell wall art based upon and inspired by mid-century modern and Scandinavian design, and their posters are absolutely charming. Very accessible art, this stuff would fit right in anywhere from a child’s bedroom to a game room to a posh modern waiting room. The colors are pleasant and soothing, and they’re whimsical as all get out. I’m in love. I may need one or more for the new home office . . .

  1. These are really appealing. I would also love to have the old flip clock shown in camper trailer photo!

  3. These are wonderful! I’m especially drawn to the ones of teapots and cups and things but I know my husband and kids would love the Star Wars ones.

  4. They have indeed staged the photos well. I am fond of the bicycle one for no other reason than I like bicycles–the saying is pretty accurate as well.
    I also like the cameras.
    Thanks for the inspirations.

  7. Reblogged this on My OBT and commented:

Guess what? The artist responsible for today’s beautiful thing is not only talented, but generous, too! Jan has offered up two free A3 (11×14″) prints of your choosing to one lucky winner! Here are the rules:

    1. Click on the Handz Etsy store. (https://www.etsy.com/shop/handz)
    2. Browse the beautiful artwork.
    3. List your two favorites in the comments on this post.

I will put the names of the “contestants” into a hat, and pick the lucky winner!

  12. Oh, I LOVE these! After much deliberation, I think I like the “Keep it Reel” reel-to-reel tape player and the “Expand Your View” Viewmaster ones best. I had endless hours of fun with my Mum’s Viewmaster when I was a kid!
