I was working late (as I do) and letting Mahogany Sessions play in the background, only half listening. Then this came on, and it stopped me cold. I knew I’d found my musical obsession of the week.

A couple of months ago, I posted about the very talented young English singer, Birdy. I was blown away then by her skill as a songwriter and storyteller, which came through immediately, and by her own story. This time, it’s all about her voice, and the voice of her co-performer, 25-year-old RHODES, A.K.A. David Rhodes.

I hope they reunite for more duets. It’s a heady mix.
