Melbourne-based glass artist Jennifer Ashley King has a way with glass. When I first saw her piece above, “Bâtiment Noir,” I thought it was the perfect piece of glass art for Halloween week. But it turns out there’s much more to Ms. King than just dark and stormy glass. Some are dark, some are filled with light, some have lovely slices of color, but all her pieces draw you in. They’re comprised of hundreds of pieces of precisely-cut glass which are then fused to create a really interesting whole. Hope you enjoy them!

Wowzer! Every time you share art glass I find myself wishing I could find a pot of leprechaun gold.

It would unfortunately take just that. I love the black best. So striking!

Thank you for sharing my work. The comments are really encouraging especially after a long day cutting glass (and sometimes my fingers) in the studio.
