I have news! The blog has a brand new URL, so please adjust your bookmarks. (I’m assuming you have bookmarked the blog because MyOBT is so fantastic, you’d never want to miss one, right?)

Thanks! Embarrassingly enough, I started my premium account in February, but I couldn’t decide on the right URL so I kept putting it off. Then someone registered Etsomnia.com right out from under me, and I decided it was time to move. Take that, Etsomnia snatchers!

You’re sweet! I understand that it’s a pretty common practice to grab up potential web addresses when a trademark is filed. Bastards. Oh, but they’re willing to sell it to me for $850. Stink, stank, stunk!

Still cheaper than some of those hellacious things you find on Etsy. I once read that someone bought up “21st Century Fox” assuming they would profit from the film company needing it at the change of the century. Didn’t happen. Maybe that’s apocryphal but I like the parable anyway.

Donna–you went premium through WP? Was that difficult? I am going to run out of photo space soon so figure that is what I will have to do, also. Just curious how involved it is. Thanks so much.

Not difficult at all. It’s $99 for a year, and that’s the only thing that changes. Well, that and the ads disappear. You have the ability to change your URL once without extra charge. I honestly found it pretty easy! Always happy to discuss. Email me at contact@myonebeautifulthing.com!
