What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Marvelous Macabre!

Macabre Gadgets

This is the stunning figural jewelry of Krakow, Poland-based Macabre Gadgets. Inspired by “the infernal aesthetics of the dark side,” their designs are gothic in the very best meaning of the word. And they’re not quite as expensive as some of the dark deliciousness I’ve previously explored.

As glorious as their jewelry design is, I think their photography is equally gorgeous and skillful. I hope you enjoy gazing longingly at them as much as I have!

I couldn’t pull them off either, but they are very interesting……….in a good way!

The artistry in the design, the polish of the crafting, are wonderful. I was into statement rings when I was much younger and would have loved these (imagining I had had the funds, of course). I agree with you about the photography too. I see so much lacklustre or plain crap product photography. This photography really showcases the pieces.

I am thinking…big black coat, suitably crafted walking stick, top hat and John Lennon glasses–wait, I think I am copying Gary Oldman in Dracula….It would still be a good look though.

i’d wear one of the yellow bug eyed skull rings to an interview, no sweat. being a computer tech an’ all, i bet it’ll be normal real soon… 😛

Dark for sure, but I am quite intrigued. They are much better than I expected. (Because of an unfortunate juxtaposition of emails, I half expected this – and brace yourself: http://thecreatorsproject.vice.com/blog/aleksandra-waliszewska-painting-interview-not-dead-yet)
