Fellow blogger, regular reader, and all-around great guy Anthony called me out on my latest tattoo post, good-naturedly suggesting my claim that I wasn’t planning a tattoo didn’t ring true. His astute observation led me to admit to myself that maybe I was working up to a new tat after all. However, today’s discovery lets me postpone the inevitable for just a little bit longer!
These are temporary tattoos sold by TattooYou. The designs are from work by internationally-known tattoo artists. You can try out a design without any of the life-long repercussions. I can’t wait to order a stack of them and start playing!

I know what you mean. I don’t exactly regret the tattoos I got in my twenties, but I do wish I could trade them out for something that means more to me now.

What a good idea to do a try run on something that requires serious commitment. Some of those designs really appeal to me.

These temporary tattoos are better than the ones I used to buy at the variety store of my youth–way better.
One of the other things that might dissuade you from getting a permanent tattoo is that you seem to always be able to find something even better. Your finds (in all forms and media) are pretty incredible. So….an even better tattoo could be around the corner.
As for me, these temporary ones are pretty cool and would work for a person who so quickly changes his mind.

I assume they’re like most temporary tattoos. If you’re super careful and keep them dry and dusted with baby powder, they’d probably hang on for a week.
