MiniatureGlass
After all the expense of the holidays (and the extreme prices of some of the more, shall we say established artists I typically profile), I thought it was high time I bring you something attainable and absolutely delightful.
These are the lovable budget-friendly glass figurines by Nikita Drachuk, sold in her Etsy store, MiniatureGlass. I came across her figures while looking for a rat for Beloved (inside joke), and when I spotted this little guy, it was love at first sight! When I realized Drachuk could even make unappealing creatures like rats and scorpions adorable, I knew I needed to share her work with you lovely folks.

I have loved glass miniatures for a long time. When I was wee, my sister and I found a box of them at a jumble sale and handed over a teeny sum of money to take them home with us. Now I am wondering whatever happened to them. These would make cute gifts I think. I cannot believe how affordable they are given the skill involved in creating something so intricate.

I guess the exchange rate in Kiev isn’t so great for them. But it sure is great for us!

These are adorable! I’m pretty sure that crab is asking to come live with me!
