AliceCorsets
When I first spotted the Queen of the Night gown and corset above, I nearly swooned with joy. Designer Alisa Perova of AliceCorsets makes custom corsetry, costumes, and gowns. Her wares include tight-lacing corsets, period corsets, burlesque outfits, alternative wedding dresses and haute goth. I’ve never heard the term ‘haute goth’ before, but now that I have, I have the feeling it’s going to haunt me. I need to get me some of that!
As memorable as her gorgeous creations are, it’s her stunning photography that kept my attention.
Check out the Alice Corsets website, and on Etsy, Facebook, and Instagram, too!

I know what you mean! When I was young enough and thin enough to pull them off, I had no money. Now that I can kind of afford them, they would be ridiculous on me. Unfair!

What beautiful creations. Love the haute goth stuff. Isn’t it amazing how she built a whole business around being able to make something unusual, the corsets, really well. How many custom corset makers are there?

On Etsy, it seems like thousands, but she’s certainly the best I’ve ever seen.

It’s a great match-up. The clothes are glorious on their own, but the atmosphere in those photos is electric!
