What if you spent every day looking for One Beautiful Thing?

Friday Bonus Funny

I tried, but I couldn’t find the name of the brilliant French troupe who performed this gem in the 1960s. (Ballet D’Agonee? I do know it’s not the Ballet Trockadero.) Therefore, it seemed like a perfect ‘I’m going on vacation tomorrow’ bonus post. Enjoy!

  1. Hi Donna, seems to me more likely to have been a British ballet troupe, given that the short ballerina in the glasses is well-known British comedian, Ronnie Corbett.

  2. Hi Donna, I am one of the dancers in this parody of Swan Lake. We are actually Australian dancers. In 1979 The Two Ronnies (British comedians) came to Australia to do a stage show. While they were here Ronnie Corbett (one of the duo) make a series of television specials called The Ronnie Corbett Show. This was a dance we did on one of the shows. As mentioned in one of the comments, Ronnie Corbett is the short dancer. He did a pretty good job considering he was not a dancer. I was 15 years old when I did that show. I am turning 60 next year. I am glad you enjoyed the little bit of humour. Not sure if you will see my comment as I see you posted the clip three years ago – I actually ran across this when I googled my own name (not something I do too often!) Anyhow what a funny thing to come across!
