Skunk Control

The very interesting folks at the Australian artists’ group known as Skunk Control have a marvelous way of merging art, nature, and science to form enormous, immersive works of art. The marvelous displays, which have been exhibited in many countries, are the creative brain child of an eclectic group of engineers, scientists, artist, and educators. Many of their marvelous sculptures move and change colors, and I deeply wish they would come to my beloved New York Botanical Gardens so I could see them for myself!

I had started collecting still images to share with you, but when I found the videos of the pieces in motion, I thought that was so much more effective. I hope you enjoy these art installations as much as I have!

You can follow Skunk Control on their website and on YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Facebook.

Very cool! The pieces are like kinetic stained glass. I would love to see them in person.
