Artist Charlotte Bracegirdle calls her ongoing art project as My Paper Bag Life. She draws self-portraits on paper bags which she wears on her head while going about daily life (on camera). She describes her work as a sort of visual diary, and her multimedia efforts (drawing, film, performance) are fascinating to watch.
“People generally smile and find it really entertaining and funny, then they’re unsure… I have scared people with some of the expressions, especially when I’m wearing them out in public. But generally people look confused, then when they see that I’m a bit approachable and see my smile underneath, they really enjoy it… When they realize there’s so many expressions and that the bags change, and they see the films, they’re really drawn to it and seem to really get it. They realize it’s about the human experience.”
Bracegirdle is trying to tease out people’s genuine selves and get at their inner children.

Very interesting! 😀 I agree, the inner child is so important to us all. ❤

I have spent many happy times wearing my inner child on the outside, and I strongly recommend hanging onto one’s silly!
