Please forgive my brevity, but I’m travelling today and need to keep it brief (but still beautiful).

Sometimes, the universe throws you a pure, simple, short-lived joy. The trick is in knowing how to spot it and in having the capacity to acknowledge and enjoy it.

This is such a story.

I found that very touching. I love that she recognized what Bee had given her to reciprocate for her care of Bee. My kids once adopted a wingless fly. That tale isn’t as touching.

Aw. I’m sure they meant well. I sometimes get taken over with superstition or something and wonder if the small creatures that throw themselves on our mercy aren’t people who’ve gone before us. Then I feel stupid.

It’s a fascinating story – I just saw it somewhere – on Facebook, maybe. Definitely unique!!! Who else befriends a bee? A *wingless* bee, no less? Lol.
