Today’s wonderful thing is making me feel all springy. This is the delightful, positive social media by Amy Roiland, A.K.A. A Fashion Nerd. She’s known for her quirky style which I would characterize as Doris-Day-Meets-Katy-Perry. In other words, it’s colorful and cute and always a little bit retro, and the vibe is just adorable. Roiland regularly features her kids, Ryder and Rockwell. Ryder has brain cancer, but the blogger still manages to keep her posts positive while also keeping her understandably concerned public informed about the tyke’s progress. Although her glioblastoma is inoperable, chemo has been working for her. Luckily, she’s doing pretty well, and her constant presence in her mom’s blog is truly heartwarming.
