I rent a lot of studios, and the question is always the same. Where do I put my stuff? I’m regularly sending links to websites that feature Murphy beds (beds that fold away when you’re not using them), but today, I’ve found something so stylish, so eminently useful, I just had to share with all of you! These are the ingenious, space-saving, convertible furniture pieces by the Italian furniture brand Clei.
I have certainly seen transforming furniture before, but the combination of Clei’s high-style Italian design and the flawlessness of their transformations puts them at the top of my list. And no only do they offer the expected desk-into-bed conversions. There are also solutions like compact kitchens,
You can see all of Clei’s marvelous wares on their website and on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

One of the things I most enjoy when looking at tiny living arrangements is the ingenious solutions people come up with to save space and create efficient storage and multipurpose furniture. I certainly agree that the sleekness of the designs and the quality of the engineering elevates the products of this company, possibly a bit stark for my taste but that is why I am not a minimalist.

Nor am I, really, but I can definitely appreciate the stylish utility of it all. I wonder if someone out there makes convertible furniture that looks older. Mission style would be nice!

I don’t see why not since the critical part of the design is the engineering function rather than the finish of the facades. But I am not remotely qualified to have that opinion so could be so very wrong.
