Let’s face it. There are many talented photographers in the world, and I am lucky enough to be able to share the ones I find with you lovely people. However, Sebastian Luczywo is closing in on my number one slot. The photos he takes of his family and their pets and the world around them are really special. Sure, they’re all beautiful and quirky and a little funny, but his genuine fondness for them comes through in every one. Some of his portraits seem so intimate, they’re almost hard to look at.

His use of what appears to be natural light gives me the chills, and his staging of his subjects is nothing short of miraculous. I’m running out of superlatives, so I’m going to stop and just show you a few of my faves below. I loved so many of his photos, I had a really tough time choosing the examples included here.
