As soon as I clapped eyes on these gorgeous knives, I knew I had to have one. Wonder what I should stabfirst? By CaptainKeepsake
Et·som·ni·a (/etˈsämnēə/), noun, 1. a sleep disorder caused by obsessive Etsy browsing. 2. the surprising arrival of weird handmade merchandise ordered when one is only half conscious. (True story.)
Of course, since I’m celebrating pride week, today’s Etsomnia™ is all about the rainbows! Since I found so many items I loved, this week’s episode has a lot fewer tragedies than usual.
As usual, links to the items for sale appear below each picture. For more Etsy fun, check out all my weekly Etsomnia™ posts. Enjoy!
Ingenious test tube chandelier. You can fill the tubes with water of whatever color you wish! On the downside, though, eventually, they would fill with dust and dead bugs. By PaniJurek
Dr. Huxtable would have been all over this awful thing. Hopefully, he’s the only one.
Very cute unicorn nightlight with rainbow cord. Maybe I should get it for our 2-year-old niece. Wait. It’s HOW MUCH??? By EarthSeaWarrior
The only problem with these rainbow-hued mini leather journals is it’s impossible to pick just one. By JackdawBindery
If this lady offers you candy, run. And it lookslike the seller may have also knitted her house
Truly stunning rainbow stained glass panel by RavenGlassGirl
I love the colors in this sea glass necklace by LinaColors, but with all of those beautiful color options, why would you put the muddiest ones in the center?
Aggressively ironic hipster cat shirt by PhilipNormal
Why, yes! I DO need half a dozen felted sheep in rainbow colors. Thank you for asking! By BondurantMountainArt
The toddler rainbow is adorable and the stained glass panel makes me wish for larger windows. But some of those items manage to turn a beautiful rainbow into something ghastly.
Should I be at all concerned that I rather like a good few of the items in this volume of Etsomnia? I was taken with that chandelier until I realized the drops were tubes and would, therefore, as you pointed out just become a breeding ground for a new apocalyptic plague. I would love those rainbow converse. I’m happy to report, however, that I did still find several listings appalling. That jumper with the horse head arm was repugnant.
The Converse sneakers are wonderful, and if I could wear flat shoes, they would already be mine! I know there was an unusual number of good ones this time, but I couldn’t help myself. So many pretty things!

Aren’t they wonderful? I wish I could wear shoes that flat. I’d be all over them.

Yeah. There were really a lot of tragic clothing choices, but I wanted to make it about more than just clothing.
