I first came across the wood carvings of Nick Hunter when I was looking around for posts about bees. I was instantly attracted to his beautiful hand-carved wooden bees and birds and other decorative shapes, and I was also fascinated with his process, which is thoughtfully documented in his blog.

There are some really lovely items for sale in his shop (complete with puns and other funnies), and his Instagram is absolutely bursting with photos of his gorgeous, simple, perfect carvings. What a very talented man!
