Based in the idyllic-sounding Chilliwack, B.C., makers Drew and Jordan create adorable, quirky, rustic decor items with which I have fallen in love! They take familiar natural shapes – mountains, moons, and crystals, for example – and turn them into outrageously-stylish-yet-highly-useful shelves. And in addition to being charming shapes, most of their pieces also feature beautiful, thoughtful little touches like white paint on the mountain caps, painted phases of the moon, and hand-crafted or recycled knobs to keep things interesting.

All of their pieces are handcrafted from locally-sourced reclaimed wood, and no two are exactly the same. Judging by all the photos I’ve seen of these two, they’re also an adorable couple who seem to take joy in their work. I’m a big believer in surrounding myself with things made by happy people.

Unfortunately, because these beautiful things are handmade, their turnaround time is a bit slow, and we’ve just missed the cutoff date for Christmas delivery. But if someone were giving me* one of these beauties, I’d be happy to wait a bit.
*I’m not hinting. I’m completely out of wall space.

We are constantly building orders, Christmas market prep, and new designs. We are less then 2 weeks away from our first Christmas market at the @thevintagebarnmarket so y’all better be getting excited cause I am! I can’t wait to decorate our booth all cozy & wintery!🌲 – 🎅🏼🎄I know it’s still fall and Halloween hasn’t even happened yet but I’m totally wanting to decorate my shelves with 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓! I’m dreaming of snowy peaks, evergreen trees, and reindeer! Just as a heads up we will be doing a cut off date for this years Christmas orders. We want to make sure they get out to everyone before Christmas Day & we can’t rush making hundreds of shelves. Last year was the first Christmas we had online & it was insane. We are projecting 2 times that so we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us. With that being said I also want a holiday as it’s my favourite time of year. Family is also number one to me and I don’t want to miss out of those events. Plus I’m already burning out & it’s only October. 🌄 𝕆𝕙 𝕞𝕪 𝕘𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕕! 🌄 – 🍂🏔𝙷𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚢 𝙼𝚘𝚜𝚊𝚒𝚌 + 𝙼𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚊𝚒𝚗 𝙼𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢!🏔🍂 How lucky are we to be surrounded by beautiful mountains?! The valley where we live here in the PNW we are literally circled in by mountains and I even live on a mountain! To say that they don’t influence & inspire our art is an understatement. We’ve recreated a very popular mountain called Mt.Baker out of reclaimed wood and just like this mosaic she is inspired by our snow capped ranges! Anyone else want to be in a cabin in the middle of the woods up on a mountain right now with hot coco… or a beer?! I’m going to go pack! – 🎃It’s also 𝓜𝓸𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓜𝓸𝓷𝓭𝓪𝔂 so go take a hike! Go get lost, some fresh air, and reset your mind. I feel like we all need a moment in the wilderness to really appreciate what we’ve got and enjoy the peaceful silence. Today’s motivation is all about finding that silence and quieting the mind. If you are an over thinker that’s harder said then done but you have to try! It’s good for the soul to stop and smell the crisp air or that nice wet pavement smell. 🌺 • Feed me tacos and tell me I’m pretty! • 🌺 X X X 🌿HAPPY SHELFIE SUNDAY NUMBER 1️⃣4️⃣! We have a tradition here if you don’t already know where we make a new design every week! This is something we love to do as it gets our creative juices going and gives us a break from making multiples of one design over and over again for orders (which is still such an amazing feeling and we do get a lot of variety it’s just fun to be artistic!). – We had a blast at the PNE yesterday! It got some neat shape ideas for maybe some new shelves in the future! I got a little sick at the end of the day… I have dealt with stomach issues my whole life since I’m allergic to a lot of things but wanted to try all the yummy food lol. I also pulled my back a little too working in the wood shop so overall my body hated me yesterday. BESIDES THAT… we road the roller coasters, log flume ride, are yummy food, and saw some good shows/events! – We will be leaving to head to the shop soon. This shelf took a lot of the morning to decorate because it has so many spots for crystals and goodies!! My plan today is to stain + sand while Jordan cuts + pin nails. 🕸🕷Creepin’ it real!🕷🕸 – 💨🌪 𝙷𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚢 𝙼𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚢 𝙼𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢 🌪💨 ☕️Today was so stormy out it felt like a true October day! The leaves were blowing in the wind and the clouds were letting out their rain! I love fall days like this because I get all cozy in my pjs and make a hot coco!☕️ – 🍂𝓢𝓽𝓪𝔂 𝓘𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓭𝓮 & 𝓒𝓾𝓭𝓭𝓵𝓮 𝓾𝓹.🍂 🍁Today was such a busy day for me… I mean when is it not lol! I had a lot of wrapping & painting to do. I shipped off a few but ran out of cardboard so I’ll be getting some tomorrow. If you don’t know we use recycled materials to ship. I get cardboard from my dads business as he uses huge sheets of it & I take the left overs. We’re all about reduce, reuse, & recycle!🍁 – 👯‍♀️I’ll be starting dance at my second studio tomorrow. This year it was delayed a little due to moving locations and renovations! I’m excited to see my girls I’ve missed them. I can’t wait to choreograph routines. 🍍🏝• ZEN THINGS: do one thing at a time, developed rituals, and think about only what is necessary. •🏝🍍 x x x 🌺HAPPY HUMP DAY!! It’s the middle of the week already and it’s also a short one which is awesome! Less work more sun shine adventures am I right?! It was super lovely out today as the sun beamed down from the sky but we also had a nice breeze going! I enjoyed my lunch break out with a girlfriend I haven’t seen in a long time who just moved back from Australia! It was muchly needed. So take some extra time to reconnect with old friends and loved ones it heals the soul. – The good; creating art from our hearts. The bad; needing more sleep and time to catch up on orders. – We didn’t get much sleep last night it was one of those tossing and turning type of things. I couldn’t get comfortable and we had so many things going through our heads. We talked about setting new goals and getting back into our Shelfie Sunday traditions where we have a new shelf design every week! We also want to be able to catch up and not be so jam packed all the time. But that is life filled with ups & downs, highs & lows, and the good in the bad & the bad in the good. 💀 𝒥𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝒸𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓅𝒾𝓃’ 𝒾𝓉 𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓁!💀 – 🌿𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚔 𝙶𝚘𝚍 𝙸𝚝’𝚜 𝙵𝚛𝚒𝚍𝚊𝚢!🌿 What a week it’s been. Last weekend was our first market of the season & it wiped us clean. Getting back to work Monday was focusing on orders again & then trying to restock as we go along for our next Christmas time markets. Preparing for these craft shows really exhaust you. It’s go go go getting as many things done as physically possible to have a variety of shelves at the market and then trying to balance actual open orders online. So this chick needs a tiny break this weekend… maybe some puppy cuddles, a fall adventure, or a hot tub would be nice (if I had one lol!). – 🦃 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒓. 🦃 Running a booming small business while working another full time job is a lot is work but I couldn’t be more thankful for all what I’ve been given/working for. 🌚 Handmade is made with love. 🌚 X X X 🎃𝙷𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚢 𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚎𝚝 𝙳𝚊𝚢!🎃 – 🍂This is the hardest day to keep up with the gram! I’m busy talking with friends, meeting new people, and selling selling selling! Come by @vancouveretsyco to shop our walls and snag as shelf before our stock is all gone!🍂 – 🍂I had so much fun decorating for this market. We have never done a fall one before it’s always been spring & Christmas! Fall is one of my favourite seasons (if you can’t tell) so I brought out all my pumpkins & sunflowers! Your shelves are not only functional but fun! It’s a chillier day in the PNW and so a little wine around the campfire never hurt anyone. Weekends are for fun, family, and friends and so take it easy or go exploring. – Today is my year end dance show. I will be leaving shortly to go have a dinner out with my family to celebrate my accomplishments this year and then head to the theatre early to get everyone ready. We are half way through the second week of back to school and back to work. We have all the fun fall markets popping up left right and centre. We will be at the @vancouveretsyco this September 28th! Who will be coming to see us? We will have some bonus fall themed items but mostly all year round gifts and wall decor. We will have a wider range of designs more so during Christmas time as Jordan pulled his neck and we had so many open orders we cannot make a lot of the designs in such short time for this particular market BUT lots of popular ones and good market deals/discounts. – Today I am doing some product photography, painting moons/snowy peaks, and wrapping for shipping. I might not have time to drop any off today as they need to dry!
