As someone once trounced by a hurricane, my heart really goes out to those in the path of this week’s storm.
The Houston Chronicle has assembled a list of ways to help victims of Hurricane Harvey. If you’re looking for ways to do your part, check out their article listing organizations helping out with the relief efforts, doing everything from collecting funds, food, and clothes to finding temporary homes for people and animals displaced by the storm.
Sending my love and wishing the best of luck to those affected by this terrible storm and continuing flooding.

It’s hard to believe I’m writing another one of these awful notes, and only a week after the last one. I don’t recognize this world. I don’t know where all this hate and violence is coming from. Leaving the analysis and problem solving to bigger brains than mine, I’m going to just keep on keeping on with the beautiful things and hope that some day soon we don’t need them quite so much. Wishing us all better days. ❤

It’s not that I don’t find it hilarious (I do) or that the makers aren’t in on the joke (They are). It’s that I’ve reached an age where people might think I’m serious. By GoodieTees
Et·som·ni·a (/etˈsämnēə/), noun, 1. a sleep disorder caused by obsessive Etsy browsing. 2. the surprising arrival of weird handmade merchandise ordered when one is only half conscious. (True story.)

Beloved and I were horrified and saddened by the terrible events in Orlando last night. We wish comfort and peace to the families and friends of the victims. I think the best thing I can do is to continue to try to share beauty with the world.
Peace, friends.
